The worst performers of the session were Osisko Gold Ro (TO:), which fell 8.65% or 1.31 points to trade at 13.83 at the close. Ero Copper Corp (TO:) declined 7.02% or 1.29 points to end at 17.08 and First Quantum Minerals Ltd . (TO:) was down 6.93% or 0.98 points to 13.17.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Toronto Stock Exchange by 675 to 376 and 140 ended unchanged.

CAD/USD was up 0.07% to 0.7443, while CAD/EUR rose 0.05% to 0.6645.
